Re: diapering LARGE thighs?

For our super-chunky son, these are the only diapers that fit:
MEOS. Love these, the waist & leg elastic are the ONLY ones that do not leave red marks.
Sandy's large. These are fab too. For days when we have to chase him around to get a diaper on him, I use these as 'pull-up' style.
Fuzzi Bunz OLD style with the pointy tabs. These are my FAV pocket diaper. The thigh area is nice & high cut & with the narrower tabs (pointy) they don't cut into his tummy & thigh when he sits. They are HARD to find though.
I hate the new style FB. The wide tabs cut into his thigh & tummy. They are AWFUL for a chubby baby IMO.
For covers....*sigh* we still haven't found one that fits properly without leaving red welts in tummy & thigh area.
Closest so far is Thirsties covers, we velcro them on at a downwards angle to give his thighs as much room as possible.

Re: diapering LARGE thighs?

Hi, my boy is 28lbs at 9 months. he's got chunky thighs too. I find sbish wool covers to work awesome without constriction at thighs and tummy. They're bulky but they do the job with breathability. Haven't had a leak yet. Hope this helps.

Re: diapering LARGE thighs?

The best cover for chunky thighs, IMO, is the Stacinator So Simple. It has fleece at the top and around the legs, no elastic, so no red marks. They are full cut and should fit over your MEOS very well. When determining the size, go by the leg and waist measuremensts.
