how long do you go between washes? I was reading that your not supposed to let them sit for more than 25 hours just wondering if ive been doing it wrong

I rarely use pockets anymore. However I have always washed every 2-3 days. My fb have sat in the pail for up to 3 days and I never had any problems with them.

im just trying to figure out why they stink i was every 2-3 days im thinking maybe its my detergent

Mine stink if I don't wash every day. But my pail is always full after about 24 hours anyway.

it might be your detergent, i wahs mine every 2-3 days and dont have any stink issues, i use reg gain powder and only 1/4 cup of it, sometimes a little less and 2 rinses

I wash about EOD-3days and have no problems with mine.

so gain is a good detergent ive been using tide free i tried using more detergent but then had way too many bubbles so then i rinsed till the bubbles were gone and they still stink we have really hard water i just hate that they stink

I wash every other day, but have gone longer between washes and never had a problem with stink in our FB's (knock on wood) hopefully you find out soon what's causing the problem.

You might try Borax! It's a water softener and helps with stink and stains. There's instructions on the box for washing diapers. In addition, I recommend it for cleaning the shower, sinks, toilets, etc. I'm thinking of cleaning my outside windows with it. My irrigation water leaves a nasty buildup on the windows.

I wash every 2-3 days as well. Stink can becaused by soap buildup. Try an exrtra hot rinse and see if you get bubbles. Good luck!
