Wool Mamas

I lanolized my recycled wool covers I don't know if they have enough on them, should I be able to feel the lanolin on them? I just used about half an inch squirt of lansinoh per cover, I can't really feel a difference.
What do you recommend for lanolizing?

You can lanolize until you feel the stickyness, but I prefer not to (just too messy... stuff sticks to the woolies! lol!). It sounds like you used plenty of lanolin, but it's hard to say how much actually stuck to the wool. Just try it out, and if it doesn't work well, then lanolize again

Re: Wool Mamas

No, usually you can't feel the lanolin on them... they may feel slightly more silky but that's it. I do lanolize to the point of stickiness sometimes, but it's not necessary and not sticky does not equal not properly lanolized.

Also I like lansinoh for lanolizing, I think that works the best. For convenience a liquid wool wash with high lanolin content (I like Ewe Need It) is nice, but IMHO a wool wash does not lanolize as well as lansinoh.
