G Diaper Covers, Econobum or Flips?

I'm looking for a trim comfortable cover for MEOS, a few fitteds and prefolds. The G Diaper covers look really comfy. Do they work well as covers for fitteds? Or should I just stick with the Flips? I also was eyeballing the Econobums. Hmmmm.......I just want something comfy, soft, and trim.

I don't think g-diaper would work, it is the liner that is the waterproof part.

I love my econobums, they are really nice stretchy pul, I think they work over meos but I haven't tried.

My recommendation would be dappi nylon pullon, if you want soft and comfy and trim- they look old school but are nylon and bulletproof (I like med/lg over meos). They are poofy, but squish down to nothing under clothes. We use them over snappied prefolds most of the time.

Thanks. I tried the gerber pull on pants and dd did not like them at all!!! They crinkled when she walked and looked very uncomfortable. It was like having a balloon around her lower half. Yuck! Thanks though, I do hear of the pull on pants working for a lot of mamas, just not for us.

The econobum is my fave cover for flats, pfs and meos. Here are some pics of it over meos. It is ridiculously trim:

aI don't like the flip as a cover really. LOVE it with the use of it's inserts though. Here is a meos under a flip:

There are a couple of spots where the meos is sticking out a tad and that was after tucking it in. I don't have to tuck it in with the econobum. hth

Oh, I totally understand. Just wanted to note that the dappi (or bummis for that matter) nylon pants are VERY different from Gerber pants (the squeeky vinyl), it is super soft and not noisy (I mainly add this for anyone else who might read this).

I agree that I don't think the g cover would work because of the snap-in liner but, the Flip should be good. I used ME for awhile and used Niji pull on covers and the Imse Vimse organic cotton which both worked really well and seemed pretty comfy

Well shoot, I ordered 2 Flips before reading all the replies I hope they work. Guess I should have ordered 1 Flip and 1 Econobum to see which i liked better.
