CD safe Diaper Cream?

DS is having poop issues currently due to what we think is a severe milk/soy allergie. He has now developed a raw butt. What can I use that is safe for my CD? We use mostly PF, a few fitteds, and a few pockets.

I have Burts Bees, Aquafir, Cadacene Powder, and Triple Paste. Is there something else that is recommended that I can get at Walgreens?

I don't think you can get it at Walgreens, but I love Grandma El's. Do you have a cloth diaper store in town? If not, you can get it with free shipping at MMB (link in my signature).

I love CJ’s, you can order from her at http://www.cjsewingroom.com/

From home you can use EVOO, or any mild nutrient rich oil.

And my favorite option is to use liners and whatever cream works best for your baby.

I've heard California Baby is good, and I have been using it with no issues for the past two weeks. My local grocery store carries it, as well as Target.

I really love Booty Balm and Grandma El's. I don't think either will be available at Walgreens. Can you cut up some fleece and use a fleece liner with what you have?

Re: CD safe Diaper Cream?

We use California Baby and can get it at Target. Your other option would be to use a fleece liner. Just make sure that you wash your liners separate from the diapers if you go that route. Sometimes I've used Desitin with a liner and the washed the liners with a load of towels and no fabric softener. No issues that way either.

I hope your LO's bum heals quickly. My DD had a horrible rash like that when she was just a few weeks old. It's so hard to seem them in pain like that!

I use Method Baby diaper cream, you can get it at Target. As a PP said, California Baby works also and it's readily available at Toys R us and Babies R Us.
