My first flat (pics)

Here's my first flat job. I'd love some critique!! Any tips on how to shorten the rise? I ended up stuffing it in.

You did a great job! Is that the oragami fold? To shorten the rise, I would just fold down slightly lengthwise to make a shorter rectangle before folding. Clear as mud, right?!

Looks good mama just play around with the folds. To shorten the rise I would use the jo fold or kite fold that way it is always set to the rise that is best for my LO without extra material.

Re: My first flat (pics)

thanks for the link. That looks easier than origami. Now I just need to figure out how to pin. I usually use snappi but I have some pins and would like to try them!

Re: My first flat (pics)

I think I have made one attempt to pin. I got frustrated and quit. I did find my pins when I was destashing my diapers this week so I am thinking about trying again. I had trouble getting them to go through the fabric but I have read keeping your pins in a bar of soap helps so I will see if it works.
