OPK-testing between 10:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M?

That's what it says here: http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/inovtesstrip.html

Does anyone know why ?

yes, if i'm not mistaken (and the wording may be wrong here) but your body doesn't produce the lutinizing hormone while you're sleeping so it's best not to test first thing in the morning. the best time is between 2 and 4pm....but i'd had the best luck when testing a few times a day when it would start to darker, 2pm, and again around 8pm/10pm since it is possible to miss the surge.

I've heard this too but I've tested first thing in the AM and gotten a positive. I'm wondering why they say to test at these times, too!

The only time that works for me isn't really a time, but whenever I have my smu any other time doesn't work for me!

I actually have some opk's (walgreens store brand) that say to use fmu and those work for me as well!

Honestly I think its just a matter of testing several times your first few months to find what time works best for you

It definitely depends on your body, but most don't produce enough / surge in LH until later in the day.

It depends on your body. If I test at 10am-I'll get a negative. But by 9pm that evening it is positive. And then I ovulate the next day. I think this exactness is less relevant-when your not doing fertility treatments. But for us-since we were it made the difference between conception or not.

I always got my first pos opks way late at like 9pm and the next morning they'd be pos but not nearly as dark so much more ambiguous. But had I not been testing morning, noon, and night I could have missed the surge.

I've never used opk's before~I don't need them because I get undeniable excruciating pain when I O. That said, I ALWAYS O at night. So if I were going to use opk's, I would go for the afternoon/evening testing!
