Re: Discrimination...

I was at my gym waiting for the baby e to open with a friend of mine. There were 3 other women there with tiny babies. I decided to nurse so would be happy while I was gone. The other two women had bottles propped in their babies mouths and proceed to say VERY loudly to eachother "Isn't disgusting how some women will do that in public?" My responce was "I cannot believe that people will just prp a bottle in their child's mouth and the IGNORE them." *****. This was a week ago and I'm still bugged by it. I ff my first and he is very healthy, normal 4 yr old. But to prop a bottle in the tiny babys' mouth and DERIDE me for breastfeeding ,makes me wanna and
Just makes me mad is all.

And my response to that would be, "You're baby eats in public, why can't mine?"

As I talk about my experience, I'm finding that the people whom are offended by NIP/BF will not even call it BF! Isn't it just lovely that breasts aren't recognized for their purpose in our society?

Good for you for sticking up to them! It makes me proud to know that bf moms are taking a stand.

Oh my gosh Melissa! I can't believe she said she's never known anyone who "did that to their child". Seriously, what the heck? That's horrible!
Good for you for standing your ground!

The bathroom is for eating? I would have offered to carry his plate to the toilet.
