I just ordered some instead cups. It can't hurt. I've been using my diva. Of course my DH sperm are awesome it is my crappy old eggs that are the problem.

I have heard of this but just as I was going to order some online but I never got around to it...

but I hear it is quite successful and it does help. I would so do it!

So we are TTC again and I thought I would rejuvenate this thread. Instead now makes a reusable cup that is a little sturdier that might just be perfect for this.

We used instead cups with preseed and I drank robitussin just before DTD this month and BFN.

I'm beginning to think DH has low sperm count, first due to low testosterone and now due to use of androgel...feel like maybe that is a sign that we should not have more children, but we both want one more...so frustrated and disheartened.

I did this when TTC #2. The first month we didnt conceive, the second month (using a cup after every "deed") we got pg!!! Its great especially when you cant just lay around after DTD with elevated hips. With our schedules, we had to DTD during the middle of the day, and we would quickly have to scurry off to tend to some other demand afterward. This way, it was nice knowing that even though I was upright, those spermies were right where they needed to be!

This exactly. I keep a reusable instead by my bed, just for this reason. I love it that I can just slip it in immediately and go on with the day or go to bed and not worry about the mess. Hoping it results in a bfp soon.

I used my Diva cup this last cycle & it was awesome to not have the "mess" after. I did get preggo but it ended as a chemical. But I think it's age related...I turned 40 in June.
