Re: Instead Cups/Resuable Cups For TTC & Gender Swaying Support Thread

Just wanted to chime in, too. This worked for us -- for DS2, born a month ago, we used Preseed and Instead cups. I had had 3 postpartum periods when we decided to try for another kid (DS1 was @ 16 months old at the time; I was still breastfeeding DS1 when I got pregnant using this method).

We started the day after I felt the mittelschmerz/ovulation pain -- we used Preseed and Instead cups each time we DTD that week.

Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread -- I am sure I owe my new baby to this advice!!

We were NTNP for 6 months (usually DTD right around O though) and this month I used the Green Tea Method and my Diva Cup. We DTD 2.5 days before O and I'm pregnant So first try with a cup!!

Re: Instead Cups/Resuable Cups For TTC & Gender Swaying Support Thread

wow, this thread has really awesome info! we used instead cups, as well as conceive plus, this cycle. i believe i had implantation cramps at 8dpo, but got a BFN when i tested today at 10dpo.

if i get a BFP, i'll try to come back and post about it! and from the sound of this thread, it seems like a BFP would be a boy....fun fun!

Great info. DH and I have been ttcing for 6 cycles now. I'm 6dpo right now. If I don't get a bfp this month maybe we will try this. Seems like it can't hurt anything. We have been looking into different options to help without going to the DR.

OK so I have tried the diva cup and I sometimes have trouble even getting that out. I bought instead cups to try but how does one easily get these in and out? Sorry might be TMI but I'm honestly kinda nervous to use them!

The instead cup goes all the way in. Up around your cervix. I find then way more comfy than cups that sit in your vagina. Have you looked in YouTube? There's a few videos showing how to use them!
