Long haired boys

Any other moms out there have boys with long hair? I just haven't been able to bring myself to cut ds's. It's long enough now that I have to put it in a topknot to keep it out of his eyes.

I think it's adorable, all scruffy, and so soft! Everyone else constantly comments that he needs a haircut.

Yep.

I hear ya on the constant comments. At least 50% of the time, the *very* first thing a new person we meet says to me is "how long are ya'll going to let his hair grow?". Umm, why do they care?

Re: Long haired boys

Kearnan's hair is clear down his back. I just trimmed it the other day cause the ends looked so ratty, but he wants his hair long and we are leaving it that way. He hasn't been to a barber since he was 2. Here is a great pic of him with my Uncle a few months ago http://new.photos.yahoo.com/iris0110...3318091349/153 Everyone always tells me what a beautiful little girl I have. I just laugh and say "thank you but he is a boy." Everyone is always so suprised adn we get teh How long are you going to let his hair grow ect. Now that Tharen is getting older and we haven't given him a haircut yet (and we have no intention of doing it soon) they ask if I will let his hair grow like his bothers. I say when he is older and asks to have it cut then we will cut it, but until then I am enjoying his wild child hair. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/iris0110...04195170787/16

when my sons were little I always let their hair grow out - always! and then when I wasn't looking, their dad would shave it off...

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.

Yep, Koltens hair is to his shoulders and curly. I refuse to cut it. DH says that I don't have to until I'm ready. Of course my mom wishes I would cut it NOW (like, TODAY) lol. I think little boys with long hair are adorable.
