Thank you so much for sharing your celebration with us! Sometimes I wonder if I could make it to 4 years if she wants to bf that long, especially with 1 or 2 other LOs. I'm sad to think that she may wean herself any day, even though right now she's a boobie queen! But not sure if I could make it to 4, but then again I wasn't sure if I could make it this far (13 months). It's a wonderful reminder to me that there are moms that do this, it's totally natural and if dd doesn't wean by then, I can do it too!

Congratulations!!! I also tandem nursed my second and third together for a year and a half! Treasure each of your lo's nursing sessions as if it's the last, I didn't realize it was the last time with any of my first three children...so I feel like I missed it. I guess that's how it is when it's a gradual process.

Thanks mamas! It's so encouraging to have a place where people are actually supportive of such things and don't treat me like a freak of nature! (or like I'm ruining my child!)
