The one I got for my DD when she was 4 moths was 12 1/2 and she still wears it at 3 years and it will fit her for a long time still
DS's is about 12"

We got an 11 inch amber necklace for our DD at 5 months and it is good. I think another half inch would have been perfect, as its a bit difficult to screw on and off, but once its on it is the perfect length. We tried it on our 3 year old DD and it fits her sort of like a loose choker would, so not tight around her neck at all.

If I were to buy another one I'd go with at least 11.5 inches just for ease of putting it on, etc....but anything longer than 12 inches would be too long for such a little one I think.

12 inches. Dd has had a 12 inch necklace since she was 6 months, and I hope this will last her a long time

12 inches is a great length for little necks. =)

Length is really a personal preference. I would say the stand length for most kid necklaces is 11”-13”. I suggest you measure your little ones neck and decide from there what length you are comfortable with hanging down. Just for a reference my 11 month old has a 9.5” neck and my almost 4 year old has a 10” neck.

Amber is not meant for kids to chew on so I usually recommend going a little shorter.
