1.) How many diapers do you have in your stash
2.) how often do you wash 3.) I was thinking of just getting gerber prefolds to use as a doubler in his fitted dipes.. what ya think?

Re: 3 more questions.. ( thanks momas)
1) 70+ (including pockets/fitteds/prefolds....this is completely unnecessary...i could easily get by with like 36)
2) i still like to wash every other day, i don't think this stuff should sit more than 3 days...that's just icky to me lol, turns into a bacteria breeding ground then 3) if you want to use gerbers as doublers get the ones from target (i've heard these don't have the crappy polyfill inner), or get flats (even cheaper )

Re: 3 more questions.. ( thanks momas)
counting all my prefolds i have way too many. i have sold some and bought some and made some since then.
i wash every other to every two days. personally i wouldn't waste your time on the gerber stuff. get some microfiber towels and some flannel to sew on top of them to go against baby. |

Re: 3 more questions.. ( thanks momas)
1) Um.....at least 150, not counting wool (and each of my entire rainbow of FBs are stuffed with an Infant prefold, which would put my total up aroud 175 or so)
![]() 2) About every 3 days 3) As a doubler, sure.....I just wouldn't use them by themselves.

If you really want to use the Gerber prefolds, I have at least a doz w/the poly pad you can have. I don't know how they would work for doublers. I just know I'm going to do something different and don't want these.
Let me know.

1.) How many diapers do you have in your stash? More than I could use in a week
2.) How often do you wash? Every 2-3 days 3.) I was thinking of just getting gerber prefolds to use as a doubler in his fitted dipes.. what ya think? Only if you get the good ones, I'd recommend getting some CPFs or IPFs instead.

Re: 3 more questions.. ( thanks momas)
We're cding to save $...
1. 24 infant pfs, 8 covers, 9 pockets, 3 nighttime fitteds, 3 microfiber and 8 hemp staydry doublers. 2. everyother day 3. I'd invest in some hemp or micro staydry doublers. Much trimmer than those pfs! I got hemp stay dry from zany-zebra.com for $3 each and free shipping. The "good" pfs a Target are almost $2 each, so you really don't have to spend much more to get a more absorbant, trimmer doubler. Oh, zany-zebra also sells organic cotton and has a non stay dry option.

If everyone was the same the world would be a VERY boring place.

Re: 3 more questions.. ( thanks momas)
1. Too many!! Probably like 40 dipes and 4-5 dozen prefolds
2. I was e/o day just because I do laundry all the time anyway. 3. I use preemie prefolds as doublers and have used the Gerber Birdseye as an insert. I much prefer miocrofiber though.

Re: 3 more questions.. ( thanks momas)
We have a stash of 40+. And do laundry every other day. I have no experience with gerber prefolds.
