To each his own. I don't parent your kids and you don't parent mine. I never say anything because it isn't my business but it isn't that I don't have an opinion on it.
Whatever.
This is my thoughts too. My kids wear Robeez if we go out, or shoes. But I would never stop and say something to anyone!!!

It cracks me up that people feel the need to comment on something like that. Would that same person speak up if a child was truly being abused?

I had a woman comment on my son's "freezing tootsies" last week while grocery shopping. His boots were in the cart because he kept kicking them off. He was on my back, too, so it's not like he was running through the store in socks.

yeah I get it too.. and my son is a full time walking 14 month old.. who alot of the time kicks the shoes off in the car, and if he's just going into a stroller or shopping cart, I'm not going to put the shoes back on for that.

Re: Why is everyone so concerned with my kid's feet?

I dress my kids the same as me also but I don't put shoes on my babies unless they are walking or going out for a long time in the cold. Say to see Xmas lights or something and it's really cold.
Otherwise I never wear shoes and do when out at the store but only cause I have to. LOL

Re: Why is everyone so concerned with my kid's feet?

We wear shoes out when it's cold, but primarily because otherwise 1-yr-old DS will rip his socks off, fling them away, and then complain five minutes later when his feet are cold. In the house I don't care too much, but after the time we lost a sock when bike riding in traffic I don't want to sock-chase when we are out.

LOL Funny because I usually have Robeez on my son and get comments about that too! They say they are cute, but I can tell they think I am crazy for putting shoes on a little baby. They keep his socks on and are adorable! So what?

They are just jealous because they wish they could ride in a cart with their precious little socked feets hanging out.

Don't feel bad mama. We made it in to breakfast yesterday before I realized my DS2 had pulled his socks off and I carried him in 35* weather without socks. We have some robeez but only because they are cute, not because they are necessary.

I had to giggle about this, because your username is "NakedBabyToes"

I put Robeez on my DD's feet just to keep the socks on. Yesterday I decided to forgo the shoes, and I paid the price dearly. Her feet were naked for most of the day, and it was my errand day. I spent more time looking for and replacing said socks than I did anything else. Before she figured out the socks, she didn't wear shoes.

If the baby's feet are cold she gets socks. If they're not cold she's barefoot.

If we go out somewhere she gets socks and usually Robeez only b/c the socks fall off otherwise.

Baby socks are horrible and don't stay on. She ends up barefoot so as long as her feet are warm I leave her that way.
