Diaper Swappers

My oldest ds is turning three on the 21st. We had originally planned on getting him a Strider bike but now he says he wants more GeoTracks. When I mention the bike he gets mad and says he wants GeoTracks. I know he would enjoy the bike and it would give him something to play with while we are outside. I hate to not get him what he wants but he already has a set and a half of GeoTracks and no bike...

So...I don't know what to do. Get him what he wants or get him what we would like him to have!?! What would you do?!

I would go with the bike..If someone asks you what he wants you could tell them geo tracks.

Cheaper bike and a small pack of geotracks?

That's what I'd do.

I'd give him the bike and a really small set of Geotracks. Like maybe an individual train or something.

I'd get him the geotracks. If you get him the bike after he's already told you he doesn't want it, he's very likely to NOT use it.

I agree . . . can his Grandparents or other family member get the Geotracks??

He may not use it now . . . but I assume once Summer rolls around, he will want a bike.

That's my thought, too. He's always wanting to ride his friends bikes so I'm pretty sure he will like it. When we went to Toys R Us the other day he sat on a red bike and didn't want to get off so I know he will like it. He just has Geo Tracks on the brain!

Awww! Get him what he wants! After all, you must have asked him what he wanted. A bike would be great if it was a surprise and he wasn't expecting anything, but now he will be disappointed. If you want to get him a bike, get him a bike, too!
