Re: Crocs for Toddlers?

I love crocs for my toddler. He has the freedom to put his own shoes on and off, and likes picking out his color (usually a bright green). I keep a pair of sneakers and socks in the car for impromptu playground visits and running around. They are great for running errands and out near the pool, though.

Re: Crocs for Toddlers?

We used them with DS once he could walk and have used them ever since. He used them without socks in summer and even has some of the nice warm winter ones. They are great for quick trips b/c they are so easy to put on/take off and also great for rain/mud/messy art projects/etc since they are so easy to clean.

Crocs will be the main outdoor shoe for Liam this summer. I got a pair for him at the begining of fall - the ones that are lined w/ fur & he loves them for playing outside. No probs with them not staying on either..

DD LOVES her Crocs. I bought them at Ross for like $8. I cringe at the thought of spending more than that...but they are so roomy (read: growing room) and durable, it's worth it. I might get one more summer out of her current pair...we'll see.

I love Crocs for DS. DH HATES them though. The only problem I have with them is DS has sweaty feet like me and his feet get nasty in them. I don't know if it is b/c we bought the knock offs or what?

I'm not fond of adults wearing them, but on children they are so cute! & my son's favorite shoe. I wouldn't even bother on getting the $30 name brand ones, though. DS has both name brand and generic and his generics get way more use.

Re: Crocs for Toddlers?

My DD has two pairs (the smallest size they make) - DS has a ton of pairs - and we love them all. DS is old enough that he can just keep his on without issue. DD's stay on because they're a really good fit with the heel strap. If she didn't have the heel strap they'd be lost all over the place! I have a pair of croc sandals that I love, too. So comfy. I'm not a fan of the original design on adults, but they have a lot of more stylish designs and look like "normal" footwear. We always go to the outlet when we're nearby and check out the sales.

Re: Crocs for Toddlers?

I don't buy crocs and my girls don't wear them. They don't seem to have the support that a shoe should provide. Besides that, the kids I see wearing them can't seem to keep them on and are falling all over the place in them. There are lots of other shoe options that have the same benefit with better quality. On a side note, a chiro. I know said these are one of the worst type of shoes to wear.
