Re: cloth harboring yeast?

Thanks for the info and links everyone. (that Mothering article was very useful!)
Littlest got a new rx for Econazole Nitrate 1% cream, which only has to be applied once a day. I considered picking up some unbleached disposables at the store, but then backed away (they didn't have any size 4's, which is what I would have wanted to buy anyway). I think I'll just stick with prefolds while the cream is on him and just keep washing and washing the other diapers. I'm actually learning to pin!
I already use a vinegar rinse almost every time, but maybe not enough. I usually use about 3/4 a Downy ball. I did look for GSE at the store today but couldn't find it, so I'll keep an eye out for that too. I'm hoping this new cream will help us kick this out fast!

Re: cloth harboring yeast?

I am going to have to try some of these things. Ds2 has like a permanent yeast rash. Nothing seems to get rid of it. We can get rid of it for a week or so but then it comes right back. We even tried sposies and his rash just got worse. I am going to go get some GSE and do some loads with that and see if it helps. Also does anyone know anything about the spray that Thumbelina diapers sells for treating diapers. IT is supposed to kill all of the yuckies and keep them away. Would that help?
