How do you make your quesadillas?

We are pretty simple here, some refried black beans from Trader Joes (the ones in the purple can with jalapenos), and a handful of Colby Jack shredded cheese, cooked very crisp in a frying pan. I like them with a spoonful of peach salsa and a slice of avocado on each wedge. We eat them all the time- cheap and tasty and filling.

I went to a friends house for lunch and she did them differently and they were delicious as well, so maybe I should branch out.

We usually do diced, cooked chicken with cheese. I like a little bit of peppers in mine. With sour cream to dip

We do a lot of cilantro mixed with a little shredded cheese (enough to hold it together). They're delicious and green!

Re: How do you make your quesadillas?

Just plain cheese in a skillet with a little butter, and folded over

DH puts them on a cookie sheet in the oven and doesn't fold them

Sometimes I add chicken, but my family likes just the cheese and no extras

I like to dip mine in salsa and sourcream

I put chicken breasts in the slow cooker with a jar of salsa and a block of cream cheese. Then I pan fry the tortillas when the chick. mix is cooked. After shredding the breasts, I put a glop of the mixture in the hot tortilla and fold in half. So good!

Yummmmm...... Thanks, mama!

We just put shredded cheeses (cheddar, mozzarella, jack, whatever) into tortillas, top with peppers, fold them and put them in the oven on a cookie sheet. If we have leftover chicken, we use it. I like guac and sour cream with mine.

The Fast way.... Cheese in tortilla and nuke it for 1 min... or until cheese is melted.

Slowerway. i put whatever sounds good in them... Always cheese of course. but Chicken, Tomatoes, avacado, cilantro, peppers... you get the Idea. I bake them in the oven, Either openface or like a sandwhich, at 350 until the tortillas are crisp and the cheese is melted.
