Re: Transition to 2 naps.. remind me of age?

9 months, but I think I read it's the "optional" 3rd nap after 5 months?

Re: Transition to 2 naps.. remind me of age?

Thanks mama's - I was just trying to see if mine was transitioning earlier than others. I'm trying to let her sort of decide what she wants to do and obviously not force the issue of 3 naps. All that does is make her and I frustrated and her naps are really short then anyways so not like they are much help.
I am noticing that she's doing a bit better at night. Just harder during the day when I need to get my work done and she's not quite ready to sleep yet but not really wanting to play either. LOL

My little one is 7 months and I think she's been down to 2 naps for about 2 months or so now. Her typical sleeping pattern is from 8 pm til 6 am (with some wakings for nursing), morning nap of about an hour around 9 or 10 am, afternoon nap of a couple of hours around 2 or 3 pm. I found it easier when she dropped the third nap because it made for two longer naps instead of three really short ones.
