any freeze bagels

ok so i freeze bread i buy all the time but what about bagels? do they freeze well?

I freeze bagels all the time they freeze fine...and if you slice before freezing you can just pull out and toast. otherwise you need to thaw them.

We freeze them too- less of a difference than bread.

I slice them ahead of freezing too. I just use a longer toaster setting on my toaster oven. If you buy them from a bagel store, they will often do the slicing for you if you ask. I usually get Trader Joes, so just slice my own and then rebag.

Oh yeah. I just made my first batch of bagels the other day though and I was a little nervous to freeze those... but they did fine too.
