Wool for baby with eczema?

From perusing the posts, I see that wool is THE way to go. I was wondering if any of your babies/toddlers have or had eczema and if so, did the wool bother them?

I'm interested in trying a wool soaker, but my kiddo had eczema as an infant and even now he's got dry patches that we lotion up every other night. I'm wondering if the wool will irritate his skin.

TIA!
Lesley

My infant has eczema, and wears longies or wool covers 75 % of the time. It doesn't seem to bother him. Try to stick to very soft wool (Merino) or even organic (no harsh chemicals on the wool). You could try a used pair of longies off the swap, or even new, and if they don't work, resell them (longies have pretty good resale value).

Lanolize them heavily, and it may even help dry patches on his legs. It has Logan; I'm half tempted to make him an interlock (wool) shirt & lanolize it to help the patches on his arms!
