Have a Swaddlebee wetbag/diaper pail?? LOOK HERE!

I am very confused and wanted to see how other bags are made..

I ordered one new, first quality and the laminate was on the outside,Knit side was on inner..

Bought a wetbag and it was reversed knit on outer, pul on inner!

how are these supposed to be made?? It makes more sense that they should be like the one with the knit on outer??

I DO realize I could just turn the large bag inside out but I figure it will wick since the surged edge will then be on the outside??

My whammies has the laminated side on the outer also, I always thougth it was weired, actually I always wonderd which way to put it in the pail, then I figured outthat the little cloth thing for the TTO must be the part that goes on the inside with the stinkey diapers

I have an SB and 2 wahmies. I think the poly is on the inside and the laminate on the outside to prevent wicking, but I'm not sure. I can tell you they work great!

I always use mine with the PUL to the inside. I have cheapo ones or ones I made myself. I just prefer it with the PUL to the dirty dipes. No real reason why. But I have never had any wicking issues using them this way.

I also make mine this way because I don't like the shiny look on the outside.

Re: Have a Swaddlebee wetbag/diaper pail?? LOOK HERE!

Here's my guess as to why:

1) the knit on the inside of the pail liner makes it so any free liquid doesn't pool in the bottom as much, since it'll be absorbed a tiny bit by the knit. Also, if it's in the pail, the part you actually see (inside the pail and flipped over the top of the pail) is the inside of the bag, so that's the knit or "pretty" side.

2) on the wetbag, it's not designed to be in a pail, so they put the "pretty" side out.

That's my reasoning, anyway.
