Troubleshoot with me (smelly dipes)
I have a new washer/dryer, it's a front loader.
When my dipes come out of the dryer, they smell like pee. They don't when they come out of the wash, in fact they smell a tiny bit like detergent. Soooooooo- buildup? Or not getting clean enough? I have not noticed an ammonia smell when she pees though, just straight out of the dryer.

Re: Troubleshoot with me (smelly dipes)
I had a similar problem...and a mom suggested to put the clean diapers in the washing machine or a basin with boiling hot water. Agitate them a little and if they sudzed up, it was buildup or too much soap in the wash...if the water was murky, it was because you didn't add enough detergent. I didn't try this method...just figured it was because I wasn't adding enough detergent, because I was always scared to add TOO much. SO, I just added a couple more tablespoons and it seemed to help. I also added about 1/8 cup of bleach to the next load. Hope this helps you!!
