Diaper Swappers

My son is two and we have been using cloth since he was 14 months. I typically use premium prefolds trifolded with a Thirsties cover, but I kind of want to branch out a bit...and we need a new night time solution. So, is trifolding okay or would I need to invest in sized prefolds or fitteds? Thanks for any input.

You can totally trifold in a wool wrap! Baby Beehinds, Imse Vimse, Organic Caboose, Little Beetle all make wool wraps. If they get poop on you'll need to hand wash and they take longer than PUL to dry.

If you go with fitteds or snappi/pin your pf you have more options with wool since you can use pull on soakers too

what about loveybums wool covers? Can a Flip insert be in that and work?

Sugar peas makes side-snapping wool and fleece covers that would also work for trifolding

I wouldn't recommend trifolding in a Loveybums cover, because the trim fit won't help contain messy poops. I second the rec for Baby Beehinds wool, though - they are amazing, soft, and bulletproof (and great value for money)

We love WI2's. We tri fold in them and just swap out the wet soaker for a clean one. WAYYY less laundry!

My bad! WI2 = Wool In 2! It's a wool wrap style with lay in or snap in soakers!

They're AWESOME!

I have a question about this. Wouldn't the trim fit MAKE it better for trifolding? I mean I trifold the Flip inserts in a Flip cover, and it is VERY trim, and my girls' poops don't blow out into the cover
