If not Stay Dry, then what????

Why is the Stay Dry doubler not to be used as an insert? Probably a silly question, but I am confused. What would you recommend for a pocket diaper?? Need sugestions.

I don't think they are absorbant enough to hold all the pee. I use them with my PF's for naptime and when we are going out and DS will be in a diaper a little bit longer. They give the PF's a little extra boost. As for pockets, you can use microfiber towels. Wal-Mart sells 8 in package for $5. There are different sized lengths and thickness. I've heard the yellow ones from Target are really good. You can also use infant sized PF's, tshirts, terry cloth...any aborbant material really. Or can you buy the actual inserts from any supplier. I like cotton babies. HTH's=[[=

Yeah, a doubler is supposed to add some ooph to a dipes absrobancy, not be all the oopmh, kwim? The stay-dry part means it can go against baby's skin, on top of whatever else is in the diaper. (You don't have to have something stau-dry next to baby, tho - just not microfiber)

You're thinking of an insert - they're the heavy duter soaker-uppers.
