Thank you so much! I love it too - it's such an awesome, vibrant color. Sewed up great into a blanket and makes me think of summertime!

It is a onesize hybird flat I've been working on. The outer is french terry Bamboo.
Winter!!!! It's awesome! I love one color dyes where you get all the different shades/depths of that one color (plus the base fabric color). I think it turned out really pretty. Oh baby - I can't wait to see it sewn up!

So was the process fun/a pain, do you plan on doing any more?

Love it! Thanks so much for posting your results. Hope you don't mind... I'm added your post to the list on the front page.

Re: Holy Dye Batman! Dylon LWI - dye galore!

Thanks Jenn! It was really easy to do. The project was cut out prior to my dyeing & sewing it, and I knew the bamboo would curl, but I didn't want to dye all of the fabric. It will definitely be easier to work with if I dye a large piece and then cut it out. The dyeing itself was very easy to do, though! Thanks for the tute! Oh, and no problem about adding mine to the first page. I'm flattered!
The hybird flat is already sewn up, but here are more pics to help you see what I am talking about:

Folded hybird flat:

Partially folded hybird flat:

Customizing the wet zone (The long centre piece is folded just over the boy bits but can be folded lower for girls.):

Ready for a cover (The "tabs" could be placed lower for girls too.):

With a cover (Yes, I re-sewed a Superbrite to get rid of the FOE):

Sorry about the !

That diaper looks awesome! So you just fold and cover? It looks so soft and squishy even in the pics! I like! And  about re-sewing the Bummis... that's so funny!! But looking at it, I actually like it better w/o the FOE. Hmmm...

I really like dylon dyes myself. You can mix them to make other colors and different shades depending on how much you use. I have dyed cotton and wool with it. The wool doesn't take it as deeply as the cotton..you would have to use more dye to make it darker. Good job on your projects!!
