for you mamas who havent tried this!

I just had to say this is incredibly yummy! We're eating it now! I've been stuck on it for the past few weeks. I've used the light sour cream and I didn't add oil and it's still good!

Re: Holy good Hummus (semi-homemade... no tahini!)

This is soooooo good. I am a traditionalist with my hummus usually, but thought I'd give this a whirl since it got so many good reviews. My DH and I eat this up so fast! I can't believe how good it is. I always use lower fat sour cream, but do use the olive oil. Delish!!!!

If you haven't tried this hummus....DO!

Oh, forgot to add...I only have a small food processor, so I always use my blender to mix this up and it turns out terrific.

I've only tried Hummus once, and it was just a tiny bit. I have been wanting to try it though, and figure I'll give this recipe a try today! Normally, the thought of chickpeas really grosses me out. I can't handle the texture, but I think Hummus might be just the thing to make them palatable

OK, I'm back, and all I have to say is YUM!!!!! I cannot believe I didn't try this sooner. I'm a huge fan of the flavor of guacamole, and the flavors in this (lots of garlic, lemon, cumin) resemble my recipe for guacamole. This is a ton cheaper for me though, due to the price of avocados! Thanks again. I know I will be making this many times over.

At Whole Foods you can buy Tahini by the Oz. It's cool...if you have a WF in the area.
