That is the only Bottle my EBF baby would take.

I have several other nursing friends whose children would only take playtex nursers with the laytex nipple.

If you are starting out with a newborn the trick is to offer a bottle of expressed milke evey other day or so after nursing is well established (when the baby is three or four weeks old).

I got lazy with the bottles and did not give one to my dd for months, and it was another month of trying everyday for her to take a bottle again.

My dd has taken a Breast Friend from First Years since the start. They are onlt available through Babies r' Us but they are soooo worth the trip!

Dr brown DD uses both avent and dr browns but is much less gassy with the dr browns

My DD went from breast to Avent and back again just fine. I always heard never to go above a #2 nipple while still nursing or that would mess things up, but I never figured out why really.

My son would ONLY take Avent (for daycare), so we ended up w/ only those. My daughter would NOT take the Avent, Playtex, kGerber, Evenflo, NaturaLatch, and another one, can't remember, kind of like Avent - she would only sort-of take the Medela or Nuk nipples (the angled ones). I would not get a ton of one kind, because you may end up w/ a ton of bottles you can't use!!!

I had registered for the avent bottles and DS wouldn't take them at first. He loved the platex nursers. Then after he had been using the nursers for a little while he went just fine to the Avent. I never had a problem with them and ended up liking them best. Just remember you can usually take them in and exchange if your little one doesn't like them. Even though it seems like a great idea, I'd be a little wary of buying a bunch of different types because then if you find one the baby likes what do you do with all the others that have been used? Just my I don't know thats a hard one though. GL
