Do you wear a Motherhood Nursing Bra??

I'm looking at the nursing bras at motherhoodnursing.com does anybody wear one of these sleep bras, sports bras, or double layer bras ???? obviously, do you like it? There is not any good sizing information on their website for these bras they are S,M,L,XL - any info about how they compare to a regular cup size. Thanks.

Re: Do you wear a Motherhood Nursing Bra??

My sister had some older Motherhood bras that she gave me and I still like a lot (sleeping bras mostly). I have bought two new Motherhood nursing bras and neither has lasted very long at all. The Bravado nursing bra I bought has lasted twice as long (or more...still going strong through 2 kids).

Re: Do you wear a Motherhood Nursing Bra??

I've never had a Motherhood nursing bra that I liked. (And I'm on my 3rd nursling - this one for 15 months so far) I wish I'd quit getting sucked in by "cool" or "pretty" or "trendy" nursing bras and just stick with what works. Bravados are comfy for sleep but have NO support either. This time I've just worn my VS bras and pulled my breast out of the cup to nurse.

Re: Do you wear a Motherhood Nursing Bra??

I have a few sleep bras and camis that got very stretched out between the end of my PG and when DD was 8 m/o--didn't last very long. The elastic's shot. I'm a 36DD (can't believe I just typed that--was always a 34B!) and had to get an XL in these.
I also had a regular soft-cup nursing bra that's ok--no complaints. I had to get a 38F I think to fit.

I prefer Bravado for sure--the elastic's good as the first day I bought them (mid-PG) and they never lose elasticity while BFing/pumping thru the day.

Re: Do you wear a Motherhood Nursing Bra??

I like my sleep bras. I've had lots of Motherhood bras. They're pretty cheap and they don't last long. They have inconsistent fit too. But when it's what you can afford... Anyway, NEVER buy a Motherhood bra without trying it on!!! Even if it's the same style/size you already have! I have a couple that I LOVE, but a lot of them just plain don't fit right. One particular style that I've had in the past always ended up having the underwire come out of it's casing after about 6-8mo. I have bravados too. Their classic bras are comfy, but don't offer a lot of support for us bigger girls (I'm a 36E). I tried their new ones and ended up getting the wrong size, so they're not even comfortable.

Good luck!! My most comfortable nursing wear is my nursing tanks from Target. In the summer I layer a tank with a built in bra under one without and that works well for me too.

Re: Do you wear a Motherhood Nursing Bra??

In general I've got to say I've been very disappointed in Motherhood Nursing anything. They just do NOT last. I have a sleep bra that the elastic is almost completly shot on.. and I've only worn it for 3 months at night.

I never could get the hang of normal nursing bras.. I just lift over and out in a regular (Hanes Her Way cotton underwire) bra and have never had a single problem.

Re: Do you wear a Motherhood Nursing Bra??

I hate all the bras I have from motherhood. My boobs slide out the bottom of the bra. 40 D/DD here, and I just wear a target nursing tank to sleep, and it works great!

I have a sleep bra from Motherhood that I wear all the time...I love it! It's very comfortable, almost like a sports bra. However, if you're larger chested, it may not offer much support (I'm a 36B and have a medium sleep bra). And the quality isn't great, either (but for the price, I didn't expect much).
