Re: Best double stroller???

I worry with the stand on ones, like the Joovy that my son would be too small for the back of it. He's only 19# at 18 months and he's little!

I like the price more than the P&T, but I do worry that Riley won't be big enough for that.

we had a side by side but it was too wide to fit through doors
we had a joovy caboose that was great except if the 2nd child wants to sleep and when you use it with an infant seat it will hit the person in the 2nd seat in the head

so there is my rundown lol
Yeah, LMK how you like the P&T Kelley. The problems you've had with the front to back and side by side are the same as what I'd anticipate.
I like how light and easy the P&T looks, it just sucks that I can't go to a store around me to check them out. There aren't any real close!

Re: Best double stroller???

id love to get the phil and teds one, but theres no way in heck i can afford a 600.00 stroller when ive got to get at least one more carseat at the minimum, within th enext couple months and pay for us, etc!!

im planning ot wear this baby too though, i never put y son in the stroller in his entire life until 17 months, and i dont plan to much with this one depending on where we are, etc. theres no way my son would just stand there though, and he wont be 2.5 but hes 34lbs and i forget inches so hes definitely big enough. ugh!! so irritating lol!!

i like the looks of one of the jeep ones, but its wheels are like the one we have and i HATE that :sigh: im watching this too! lol

Re: Best double stroller???

I had a Graco duo glider, and hated it. It was huge, bulky, and hard to move around. Plus once my younger son got even a tad big, they started fighting over seats to sit in. I replaced it with a Maclaren Twin Traveller. It's a side by side, but it is so nice. It is so much easier to steer. I did most of my shopping with this stroller for the longest time. The kids loved it. The seats were the same, so there was no fighting over "this is my seat." Plus, the weight limit on the seats is higher - both of my boys are big kids, and it was a concern for me. Anyway, I'd highly, highly, highly recommend the Maclaren. It's what I used initially when my daughter was born, too (right now, I am mostly using a single stroller). Oh, and best of all, it has held up really nicely to tons of abuse.

Phil and teds is the best. It practically steers itself with my 4yo and 9mo inside. I got mine for 430 on ebay incl shipping. (and no tax since it was out of state )

I'll be sure to check ebay if we get one of those P&T.
I'll also look into the Msclaren.

Re: Best double stroller???

From the Looks of the P & T my kids wouldn't stand for riding in it at all, honestly. Keep in mind not all DuoGliders are created equal. I got the upgraded model (LXI) and it is really light and turns like a dream in my opinion. We went to BRU and several other stores and test drove them with kids in them and came away with this one and have LOVED It ever since. : ) Ours was a gift or we couldn't have afforded one either. ($300 with snugride car seat) Hope you find one you love!

Re: Best double stroller???

I've been researching double strollers too. We are going to buy the Baby Trend Deluxe Sit N’ Stand

http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-2/qid=1168547954/ref=sr_1_2/601-7569732-5317701?ie=UTF8&asin=B000IHTD8A

It looks nice and it can have the infant car seat in front or a seat and in the back it can have a seat or be the regular "sit n stand" without the full seat.
