Where to buy something like this...
I am tired of toys and books all over the floor all the time!! I love the idea of something like this, with book storage on top and toys in drawers on the bottom. I want a wood one, but this one is kind of pricey. Anyone know where to get one like this, but cheaper? http://store.tagtoys.com/toddler-ent...nter-p171.aspx

p.s. and if it was bigger I wouldn't think it was too expensive, but the dimensions are actually really small...

Re: Where to buy something like this...
Hmm .. have you tried IKEA or your local craigslist?
What about something like this from IKEA and put some pull out canvas or plastic tubs in the bottom shelves for toys?

Re: Where to buy something like this...
Are you handy at all? You could easily build something very similar to that. one of my favorite blogs is knock off wood http://knockoffwood.blogspot.com/ She reverse engineers popular furniture and posts the plans.
http://knockoffwood.blogspot.com/201...-easy-and.html If you were to mix this with any of her cubby plans (the rolling storage one comes to mind) you would get very close to what you are looking at. HTH

Re: Where to buy something like this...
All of the Target ones come close, but I just really like the wood drawers on the bottom and the way the books are held in the top. I'm worried the one for $49.99 with the canvas might not be sturdy enough to last through two boys... Maybe I just need to buy the original one, or see if dh's grandma wants to build us one. She's really handy, but not me really.
I'll keep looking though. Thanks for the suggestions so far!!!
