Can we make a list of CD safe fabric softeners?

Okay, so I'm totally surprised at how much I've been reading about using plant based fabric softeners on CD's. For years I thought it was such a huge no no.

I thought it'd be great if we could list some of the safe ones some of you mamas have tried and had luck with since the only one I really know of is Ecover. Any others?

Oooo, I'm interested too. I have one stubborn Rumpsters hemp AIO dipe that just refuses to soften unless I throw it in the dryer...

Here's a pretty good link on the subject: http://allaboutclothdiapers.com/fabr...cloth-diapers/

Quoting from this link:

"For a more fragrant softener the options are ever expanding. I am currently using Mrs. Meyers Lavendar scented Fabric Softener. Other cloth diaper safe, “green” softeners include: Ecover, Simplicity (found at Walmart), or Seventh Generation. These use vegetable-based surfactants, salt, and natural ingredients (essences and essential oils) for scent."

Cool! I may have to check it out!!

Awesome, thanks! I'm really interested in the Simplicity as it's so easy to find. We recently had to move because of the military and the nearest Whole Foods is an hour away

I LOVED having a Whole Foods nearby when we lived in Omaha so I'm totally sad to not be able to just run over whenever I need something!

Simplicity worked just as well for us as Ecover, but I love the smell of Sunny Day(?) Ecover better.

How long have you used it? Have you ever found that it causes repelling or any other issues with your dipes?
