not sure if babylegs are super useful here but it'll be easier than pants and those button ones with the feet. I hate those.

I'm jealous .. I miss Waiolas, lol! Have you tried Babylegs Cool? They have some lighter mesh type fabric & have a built in SPF, those might be perfect for the hot weather there!

LOL. I could go from some shave ice right now.
I haven't bought babylegs before actually. I'll probably use these around the house for easy diaper changes, and maybe get some mre gender specific ones later. I'll look into those, I saw that and it would be good for those kinda cool but still kinda sunny days

How warm are the regular babylegs?

I don't think they're necessarily "warm" .. I think that they'd be okay on the days with tradewinds and the cool mornings/evenings .. but on the hot and sticky days, I think they might be too hot and get your little one sweaty. When we were visiting and DD was 4 months old, she was in just a diaper almost the whole time it was so hot in July. We went again when she was over a year and she wore more clothes, lol. I think she was just a little hot box when she was really little.

DD was a really hot baby too. But I figure for nights I can use them. Esp with all the diaper changes.

I got my off ebay. Pick 5 pairs for $19 free shipping. Various brands including Babylegs and My First Babylegs. So I picked 4 babylegs and the rainbow babylegs were sold out, so my 5th pair was not from babylegs. But thats OK they are italian and cute!~
