Re: Any other obese expectant mothers?
I am obese. 5'4" weighing in at 225. I was 215 when I found out I was pregnant (2 weeks ago). I haven't been eating much due to not feeling well most of the time and have gained 10 pounds. I believe I am retaining water like crazy as I feel bloated constantly.
I am coming to terms with being bigger than I ever have been and now being pregnant. I walk about 2 miles every night (have been doing this for a month or so.) Because I know I am overweight because of my unhealthy eating habits, I am that much more upset with myself over letting this happen to my body. What maternity lines offer "plus size" maternity wear? I think some good clothing would help me feel better. I already have a belly on me I just wish I could see my pregnancy pooch.

For tops, Old Navy has some nice ones, but they wear out fast. I got some tops half way through ds2's pregnancy, but got rid of them a couple months after he was born because they were just too worn. Ami

Re: Any other obese expectant mothers?
I just went to Motherhood Maternity last week and got a few nice things...They go up to 3x. They don't have a large selection of plus sized mat. wear, but a bit. I managed to get some capris and shorts, and a few nice tops.

Re: Any other obese expectant mothers?
I'm about 220 and have never had any issues with my four pregnancies. In fact I usually get sent home a day early from the hospital because I bounce back so quick lol. The only reason I had a section with number 2 is because he grabbed the cord cutting off his oxygen supply. They had to pry it out of his hand! As long as you're healthy weight doesn't usually matter.
You can find plus size maternity clothing online. If you want to you can pm me. I might have a few things left. I can check.

Re: Any other obese expectant mothers?
I thought I had posted to this but didn't. I am right now pregnant with baby number 5. I started out this time at 289 right now I am 275. I loose weight every time I get pregnant ( the only time I loose weight) I have never had any problems with my pregnancies. Oh I am 5'3 so not very tall. this is what I looked like when I had my last DD at 36 weeks in this picture I was 285
![]() I have had a natural births with them all. You can never really know what you will look like pregnant until you are
