Re: OMG I need to cook for 12 guys next weekend!! Help!

I would do spaghetti or lasagnas for dinner, and breakfast casseroles for breakfast. I have a recipe for one that uses frozen hashbrowns, a dozen eggs, a pound of sausage, and a bag of shredded cheese + a few spices. You could do two of these. They're great bc you put them together the night before and bake them for an hour in the AM. PM me if you want the recipe and I'll try to find it.

Re: OMG I need to cook for 12 guys next weekend!! Help!

This may not be the cheapest, but I fixed it for a bunch of guys once and they loved it....cajun chicken sandwiches. What I liked about it is that I can make some of it ahead.

You take a bunch of chicken breasts and chop into pieces. Sprinkle them with cajun seasonings and then saute them in a little oil until they are done. Next mix some mayo with some cajun seasonings and put that in with the chicken. I used the $1 big loafs of bread from Wal-Mart and sliced them open like a big sub sandwich. Put the chicken mixture on it, top with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and sliced sweet onion.

These are really good hot or after they have set in the fridge they are good cold too.

I would say lasagna - you can even assemble it early and freeze it - I have a great easy recipe for a egg cassarole you make the night before with eggs, sausage, green chilis, tortillas and cheese that's very filling and EVERYTIME I serve it I get asked for the recipe. PM me if you want it.
