I need some patterns, can you point me in the right direction?

I allow my girls to only wear skirts and leggings, no pants, but I wanted to make them some (almost) floor length skirts when I get my new sewing machine Do you know where I can find a CHEAP (read: free if possible?) pattern for this? My girls are 2T.

Also, I only allow the boys to wear collar shirts, no t-shirts unless it is under them, do you know of a cheap pattern for a collar shirt? Boys are 14-16, 10-12, and 18m.

Thank you!

I like this tut, but you'd have to measure your girls for the length. You can always do 4 tiers instead of 3 for a longer skirt. http://www.kukyideas.com/journal/200...-tutorial.html

Here's a tut for a skirt with a knit fabric waistband. It would probably extend the life of the skirt.

Here's more I found that might work for you. Again, you may have to add length to the skirts so they are long enough for your girls.

And for a boys' collared shirt I haven't found a free pattern yet, but here are some you can buy:

I think this one is free:

Hope that helps!
