Fave "he" detergent?

I've used Sportwash with great results for years in my old TL, but with my new FL my dipes feel "crunchy" and don't smell as fresh I got a sample of Mountain Green and like it OK but haven't read much about using it on CDs. What are your fave "he" detergents? I prefer natural, or at the very least an unscented commercial detergent. FWIW, we use mostly fitteds and a few AIOs, some hemp but most of it OC.
Thanks!
Lynne

I use Allen's and got my Mom into it too, then she got an he machine so I emailed Allens and they said it is great for HE...it even says that on the bottle if I had bothered to read it, LOL

Have you tried just cutting down on the amount of detergent you use? Sometimes with FLs you have to use like 1/4 of the amount of detergent you would use w/a TL... See if you cut down on the detergent if your dipes are still clean but less crunchy.

Re: Fave "he" detergent?

I thought Allen's was a no-no for dipes, or am I mixing it with anoth (maybe it was 7th generation )? We have pretty hard water so I've been reluctant to cut down too much - I have tried to contact the sportwash people several times and - of course - gotten no reply The bottle has the HE symbol but no directions as to usage rates for HE machines. I tried cutting it down a little on the load I did last night and will see how they come out of the dryer this AM.

Any other suggestions?

Allen's is one of the top recommended detergents for CDs & is even said to work better in FLs than TLs!

Where do you get an "HE pump" for Allen's???

ITA! We have always had a FL (since we had dd and cd'd her anyway) and I use just 1 teaspoon per load. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Bac-Out for odors and johnny on the spot stain removal and Oxy-Bleach too. It is color safe and kills every germ you could imagine, and I imagine there are a lot of them in diapers!

7th Generation makes an He laundry liquid. If I am remembering correctly, it is "free" of all dyes, perfumes and is not animal tested. HTH's!

When I bought a gallon from Zannadu, it gave me the option to add on a pump for I think $4 more. They had a regular, and a "HE" one. I think it pumps out 1/8 oz. at a time. I figure, anything that makes it foolproof is great! I plan on leaving the bottle on top of the washer right above the detergent dispenser!
