AIO vs Pocket

Pockets are better b/c they dry faster.

AIOs are better b/c no stuffing is required.

What else? Why is one better than the other?

I like pockets better too. I feel like I can get them cleaner.

Re: AIO vs Pocket

Is there any general difference in absorbency?

Well, pockets give you more options for absorbency because you can stuff more in them. A lot of AIOs have pockets now too, stuffable-AIOs, but I still prefer straight pockets for easy of cleaning.

Re: AIO vs Pocket

pockets. even though you have to stuff them, you can customize them for how much absorbancy you need. my BG AIO has a pocket where i can put another insert, which i have to do. pockets also dry faster, as you mention. my AIO takes forever to dry. I also think it would be easier to get rid of a stink problem with pockets than it would be with AIOs since they come apart and you could just get rid of the inserts if all else failed.

This.
I also like pockets better because you can make them as absorbent as you want them to be. I stuff with GMD prefolds and absolutely loooove my pockets (We use BG and Katydids)
