Yikes - Bugs Are On Attack!

Does anyone know of a safe way to keep the bugs off? I know I've seen deet-free bracelets, etc., but I doubt ds would wear something like that for more than 2.3 seconds. Even if he would, do they really work? I'd really appreciate any suggestions. The mosquitos aren't out yet (fortunately!), but we definitely have ticks and what might be chiggers (itchy for days). Thanks for your help!!

p.s. I just saw that someone else asked the same question - sorry for being redundant!

Re: Yikes - Bugs Are On Attack!

We used the bracelets when we went camping and they worked well enough. I'm not sure how "thick" the bugs were then compared to what you're dealing with but we came back with only a few bites among us. Not too bad.

Ods didn't want to leave his on either so I put on one of his belt loops and he left it alone. I've heard that sometimes kids wear them on the ankles. Maybe you could try that

They have patches now with a B-vitamin release. Bugs don't like blood with elevated B levels so they leave you alone! Safe and natural!

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to check out those vit. B patches - that sounds interesting!

Skin So Soft by Avon is a great bug repellant. Most people I sell it to use it for bug repellent rather than as a lotion. I put it on my kids too. It is also great to bathe dogs in to keep fleas away.
