Re: AMP diapers or other Canadian lines - opinions?
I vote AMP ahead of AppleCheeks. I purchased my AC when the company was still brand new and found the quality of inserts not great. That said, they have since changed their line. Another thing to consider is AC no longer offers hemp inserts—they only offer bamboo inserts which are far more expensive.

There's Bummis which are from Montreal.
There's also Bamboo Baby from Dri-Line. I think they are from Alberta, but not certain. |

Omaiki's!! A little bit pricey, but it is an AIO, and so far one of my faves.

Re: AMP diapers or other Canadian lines - opinions?
I am not sure if I am supposed to be chiming in because I am sponsoring this forum this month, and I sell diapers- but I absolutely second those who favoured AMP over Applecheeks for all of the reasons stated. I used Amps 6 years ago- Annie is an absolute sweetheart and I loved dealing with her.

Re: AMP diapers or other Canadian lines - opinions?
I love my OS AMPs. Prefer the front opening for the insert to the Applecheeks in the middle. I find that my inserts don't always come out with the Applecheeks in the laundry. I do love the size 1 Applecheeks for a good fit on a younger baby. My son outgrew the size 1s around a year, but took til almost 18 months for the size 2s to fit proper. I was disappointed. I do like the Applecheeks bamboo inserts though.
Banana Bottoms are also really great Canadian-made (fitted diapers). http://www.etsy.com/shop/bananabottoms Also like Sweet Sparrow Design OS (side snap) pocket diapers. http://www.facebook.com/sweetsparrowdesign - my mom sews the diapers. They have a bamboo fleece lining which is great for sensitive skin. She also makes Zorb inserts, wetbags, etc.
