I cannot begin to imagine the amount of strength one must have to face what you are facing.

I'm not a religious woman, but I sure do hope there is a higher being watching over you and your precious baby.

Many and to you and your family! I know there is another sweet mama on here who lost a baby to this condition.. I'll try and find her info for you as I'm sure she'd be willing to talk with you.

Mama,
May all the spirits of the earth and higher powers be with your family during this time of the unknown. Spend time with your family and enjoy nature as much as possible, the healing of nature is amazing!

Re: thanatophoric dwarfism?

Oh I am so sorry mama!!! My heart aches for you and my eyes are full of tears for you as I write this. I have no experience with this but I did loose my son Joshua way too early. Of course I did not know ahead of time that he would arrive early. I did take lots of pictures of him before we buried him, so I do have those memories now.

MotherHubber has some great advise, if God chooses that this is His will. We can sure pray that Mark is in the 2% and we have had to go through all this in the meantime so we can help others. But prayer does change things!!!! The more of us who are in agreement, the more God can and does change things!!!! As hard as it was for me, that is the one good thing I have taken from this whole experience. I am now able to help others who have gone through similar loss because I have been there.

A 2% chance is still a pretty good chance!!!!!

Will be praying for you too and am looking forward to hearing great news!!!!

Re: thanatophoric dwarfism?

Just put you and yours on my prayer list, mama. So sorry...Don't lose hope yet, one of my babies didn't have a heartbeat at one of my appointments, I put off a d&c because it was just too much and surprise! at my next appointment, they found his heartbeat! He's 14 months now. SO glad I didn't get a d&c, and instead waited on the Lord. He is so good!
