Non-distractible Nursers?

I've read so much about the distractible nurser, but DS has never really been so distractible at the boob. If someone talks in a silent room (and he's not dreamfeeding) he will look up to see or sometimes he waves his hand around and feels my face. Other than that he just sits and eats while staring at my arm. I've never had to fight to keep him on task or hold his arms down, and he's never needed a nursing necklace.

Is this normal or could there be something wrong? Could he still develop into a distractible nurser (6.5 months now)? I'm not complaining (watch me jinx myself w/this post) but after all that I read about this phase I just assumed it's a standard thing. Are there very many other mamas with cool customers at the boob?

My DD (also born 11/09) is just becoming distractible, but I wouldn't worry if I were you. Ada used to be an A student, now she's all over the place while nursing!

My first was never distractible. She'd nurse no matter what was going on! My second has become distractible though. I think it's just a personality difference.

My dd breezed through the 4mo distractible phase. Then, about 7 months, she started looking at every little sound.
