Should I be concerned about major pronation?
DS is almost 18 months and his left foot is majorly pronated. Sometimes his shoes come off because his foot is rolling so far in. My mom is concerned, but I'm inclined to think that he's still too young and will probably grow out of it. Anyone have kids that pronated then got better? At what age should they be growing out of this?

Re: Should I be concerned about major pronation?
My DS has the oposite problem. He in-toes really bad. He also has one leg longer than the other. We took him to see a ped ortho surgeon and they did x-ray his hips, but other than that they said that there's really nothing until he's 3. I guess mostly because of how fast they grow in the first few years?? Anyways, all that to say, maybe bring it up at a well-baby check, but I wouldn't worry.

I don't have an answer either, but my daughter always walks on her tip toes. She's 26 months old and has been doing this for about a year. I am going to see if she outgrows it in the next year and then decide if its a valid concern or not.
