Re: can I give my 4 month old motrin?

Dr. Sears says it's been proven safe down to 2 months of age. I'd use it without hesitation. Motrin has ALWAYS worked better for my son than Tylenol. I don't think a 101 fever is bad at all, but it's not actually that great when she's got Tylenol in her system. Tylenol should have brought it down farther than that. As long as she's feeling okay I'd just watch her and she should be fine, but nothing is wrong with giving her a dose of Motrin as well. I'd just make sure she has something on her tummy before giving it.

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.

Re: can I give my 4 month old motrin?

Just FYI, a recent study shows that kids who yoru treat with tylenol/ fever reducers after vaccinations, don't acquire as good immunity from the vax, so really if you're going to get vaxes, you may as well let them do their job! If a kid is screaming and really not tolerating it at all I would give them meds, but agree with the others, try not to. I would give it but like others have said I would halve the dose if I felt they really needed it.

I agree with Tiffany. Tylenol has never worked for me or my kids. Motrin usually always works and is better for tummies.
