Re: how soon before/after you feel cramping do you ovulate?

I've felt some pretty good pinching pains the DAY I O, the day after I get a BFP OPK. I distinctly remember feeling it the month I conceived my twins (didn't know for awhile though) but I didn't realize what it was.

TBH, I think it's not necessarily the same every time. I mean, for some people perhaps it is. But the pains can originate from different sources. Sometimes you feel the tube contracting (hours after), sometimes you feel the follicle pop (at the moment), and even sometimes there's a little blood that is released with the follicle popping that irritates the surrounding structures (hours later). So I think it's really hard to say.

i don't get that *one* twinge or cramp or anything like that. I just feel over all cruddy in that whole general area, it can last up to a week for me some cycles. I have to really watch cm and temp to know - I wouldn't rely only on my cramping-like pain.

Took a peek at your chart, looks awesome !

Over a week for me as well,so I cannot rely on it to pinpoint o.I just know it's probably coming sometime in the next week.

For instance I started really having distinct left sided cramping on a Thursday night yet didn't get + opks until @ noon the following Monday.

I usually o 24 hrs after my first bfp opk.
I've been crampy since o this month--now in my 2ww.

Your chart looks GREAT btw.

I'm very much the same.I use opks to help perdict impending o.For me o cramping can be crampiness, burny type cramps,a bloated feeling, twinges or sometimes sharp stabby pains--usually starts on both sides but then it localizes to the right or left depending on what side is releasing the egg that cycle.

My left side has been the one the past few times I've od.

Re: how soon before/after you feel cramping do you ovulate?

I get a pinching feeling for about 18 hours, then a feelin like I got kicked in the butt for another 8 or so. This is 1-2 days after ewcm starts, then it all goes away within a day and that's it. So I'm guessing it's fairly quick?

I looked here just for you, B.

Re: how soon before/after you feel cramping do you ovulate?

This is my first cycle after BC but what was more noticeable for me rather than ovulatory pain was breast tenderness 3 days after ovulating - more specifically nipple sensitivity. Not helpful that it occured after but it did help me pinpoint the ovulatory pain a day before.
