Re: Boys 5> with mohawks

[QUOTE=crunch!910;10326780]I'm not going to lie, and I'm going to say this as kindly as possible, but I really do not think mohawks are flattering on children at all. Wouldn't just a short haircut will do? If you le555555555555555555555
you were very kind
i personally think they are cute and it is just our style anyways. he picked his hairstyle (to match his gramps lol) and things like hair grow so if it looks bad and noone likes it, no big deal, just shave it down afterwards.
and for ticks he has the blondest (almost translucent) hair so I see them with the longer hair anyways, but having a good portion of his har gone would be a bonus.

here he is at three just after a hair cut. I clipped the sides down super short but left the middle long. He wasn't wearing it up that day.

same time but actually awake

here is what he looks like fully spiked.

He loved his mohawk. I'm not sure why he decided to change his style. I'm hoping he will go back to it. Not that I mind his present style, I just thought the mohawk suited him better.

this is his style now though I've given him a haircut since then so it is shorter but same style.
adorable!
usually wyatt has that short cut but it grows fast and is down in his eyes again. i love the mowhawk. that is the kind i was thinking for wyatt.

Yep, I let my kids decide what style they want. It is their hair not mine. Now I will admit that they are exposed to more people with mohawks because that is how we are so they are more likely to ask for that I guess. Tharen wanted to look like his teenage buddy from the playground. He is just some kid from the neighborhood but he plays with the boys when we are at the park and Tharen thinks he is so cool. Lately we haven't seen him and Tharen has decided that he wants his hair like daddy's. Kearnan wears his hair long with the underside shaved and he has me pull it up into pig tails. It is what he likes and I let him do it. He hated having short hair and though he thought Tharen's mohawk was cool it wasn't something he wanted for himself. I haven't dyed their hair yet, even though Tharen keeps asking. I could put the manic panic in his hair but I am almost certain it wouldn't take because of his hair color. I would have to bleach his hair and I won't do that to him yet, he is too young. Hair bleaching is too intense. Otherwise I would be more than happy to oblige him and dye his hair.

I plan to let DS choose which hairstyle he will want to sport. It grows back so easily I don't see why not and I think mohawks are extremely cute on little boys Here is a pic of DS at around 5mths...I tried to get it to stand up, but it wouldn't...still looks cute though

I absolutely love them...But my little guy has reallllly thin hair and I don't like it up on him. But it also depends on their hair type etc. Like the mama below me. Her little guys hair looks so cute!

Here is my little guy...

People regularly tell us how ADORABLE his mullet is...
