Thirsties Fab Fitteds?

Anyone like these? On a newbie especially? I bought two newborn ones on a whim to get free shipping on my Amazon order yesterday. They look really soft. We'll be doing mostly wool so they seem feel easy to use.

I have used the smalls on my 9 week old...but never used the XS on a newbie. They are really, REALLY soft. I know they aren't the most absorbent fitteds out there, but the fleece inners make them stay-dry against baby's skin.

Re: Thirsties Fab Fitteds?

They are really soft and the velcro makes them as easy as sposies to use. The are also really trim so if you're not a fan of the huge booty then these are great. However, they are so trim that it lacks absorbency. that's an easy fix though by adding a doubler. I've not used them on a newborn but it seems it would work well. The lack of absorbency wouldn't be that big of a deal since newborns have to be changed so often anyway!

I think I will buy some now after reading this. I've been on the fence.

Re: Thirsties Fab Fitteds?

I ADORED these when E was a newborn (he was a big baby so he wore size smalls very early on). However I bought some size larges a few months back and they did not work for us at all. I think for a newborn, when you change them constantly and they don't pee that much, they're awesome. For an older kid (E is now 21 months old, I think he was probably 18 months or so when I tried the larges on him) they aren't good.

They are so soft and smushy...I just wanted to hug them.

I only recently purchased one for my 18 mo, but I LOVE it so far! It is so soft and easy to use. I am definitely going to get more!
