Flip / Gro Baby / Gro Via disposable inserts: In any cover?

Hey mamas,

Does anyone know if disposable hybrid diaper inserts (Flip / GroBaby / GroVia) can be used in any waterproof cover? I have 2 GroBaby covers but the rest of my non-wool stash is Thirsties and Imse Vimse. I'd prefer to use what I've got, if it will work...

I am looking for a compact, convenient and eco-friendly way to CD while we are on holiday (driving from TX to Ontario and back)

Yep, I've used the gDiaper disposables and Grobaby disposables in several different covers. They usually fit just about the same.

Yes I do it all the time. We just got back from lunch plus the dog park and DD was in a gDiaper flushie insert in a Thirsties and when I had to change her, I put a Flip disposable. Both worked fine.
